    We’re EngineeringTrainer and we are disrupting the learning market for engineers worldwide. Our Saas product is an essential business solution for technical skill-building in the energy and chemical sector and is an industry-dedicated alternative to LinkedIn Learning or Udemy for business. 


    Founded in 2019 we’ve met our milestones through organic growth. Now, after completing our seed-stage funding round, we are accelerating our growth with the target of dominating the market for on-demand technical training courses for engineers globally. This is the moment to join our team, and together with the founders dictate the continuing success of EngineeringTrainer.

    The Role

    This role is full time and based in our office in Bunnik close to Utrecht in the Netherlands. Innovation and efficient decision-making are essential for our growth. We believe that collaboration in person is vital for this, meaning this role would require you to be in our office for at least 80% of the time.


    As the Digital Growth Manager at EngineeringTrainer, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to drive lead generation, engagement, and revenue growth. You will interface with all other activities of the company, in particular Sales. The execution will also see you managing and inspiring junior colleagues. The key outcomes of the digital marketing strategy will be to optimize our online presence by growing our following on social media, SEO, enhancing user experience on our website, implementing marketing automation methods, and leveraging data-driven insights.


    In this role, we are looking for someone who can be an integral member of the core team of the company. Here you will collaborate directly with the founders, working constructively together on the road map to grow EngineeringTrainer.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business objectives, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and more.
    • Audience Segmentation: Conduct thorough market research and customer segmentation analysis to identify target audiences, their needs, and preferences.
    • Conversion Optimization: Continuously analyze the website to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase conversion rates, reduce bounce rates, and enhance user experience.
    • Content Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging and relevant digital content, including blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media posts.
    • User Engagement: Develop and implement digital campaigns and communication channels to engage existing course users to drive value and cross-sales.
    • Data Analysis: Utilize web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) to organize, track, and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
    • Paid Advertising: Manage digital advertising campaigns (PPC, display, social ads, etc.), optimizing ad spend and targeting to maximize ROI.
    • A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve website and landing page performance.
    • Email Marketing: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking.
    • Budget Management: Effectively manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources.
    • Team Management: Be able to lead less experienced colleagues to help you achieve results quicker.
    • Thinking outside your role: You will be a member of our core team, your critical input is essential to help us meet our ambitions.



    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field
    • Proven experience in digital marketing (>3 yrs) with a track record of driving growth.
    • Proficiency in web analytics tools, SEO/SEM, and digital advertising platforms.
    • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Confident with copyrighting and able to realize persuasive marketing messages.
    • Creative mindset with a passion for staying ahead in the digital marketing landscape.
    • Enthusiasm for working in a young and fast-growing start-up environment.
    • High proficiency in the English language.



    Interview Process

    Making sure we are a good match for your talents is crucial for you to thrive. Our application process is as follows:

    Step 1: Screening, with Richard Fawcett, our operations lead (30mins video call)

    Step 2: In-depth about your skills, with Luuk our founder and CEO (1hr video call or face to face)

    Step 3: Face-to-face Interviews, with all members of the management team, including an assessment case (2 x 1hr face-to-face)
