You will join the core team of the company and collaborate directly with the founders to advance all course production activities of the EngineeringTrainer.com platform.

Job Description

As Online Course Producer you take control over the production, the quality and the content of several online engineering courses and you form the interface between the engineering industry specialists (the instructors) and the production staff (cameraman, video-editors, designer, etc).

Tasks include:

• Defining the curricula of courses in close collaboration with the instructors

• Scriptwriting & storyboard preparation for videos and related learning content

• Reviewing exercises made by the instructor and producing additional ones

• Coordinating & supervising the graphic designs and video production done by production staff

• Processing student feedback and initiate new content based on this

• Coordinating recordings in the recording studio with technical staff

• Defining the business case for new courses

• Weekly Progress Reporting to the Management Team

• Review existing production processes and make improvements where possible

You will take control of the production of multiple course products. For this you will work in close collaboration with the engineering specialists, graphics designers, video-editors and recording studio.

Based on your Personal Development Targets specific tasks will be emphasized to facilitate your personal growth.

• Higher education-level (HBO or WO level) degree in a technical, beta discipline

• Affinity with teaching, education and/or knowledge sharing
  

• Good organizational and communication skills

• High proficiency in the English language

• A growth mindset, life-long learner, and a doer attitude. Creative, curious, proactive, and autonomous

• Enthusiasm for working at a young and fast-growing start-up environment

• Available to work a minimum of 0.8 FTE

• Based in the Netherlands and able to work in our office (Bunnik) regularly

These courses are produced together with a global network of industry partners and marketed on our platform, EngineeringTrainer.com. Courses are accessed through individual online purchases or bulk purchases by businesses. Our customers are both individual consumers (engineers) as companies employing them.

It is our mission to expand and modernize the offering of online learning content for engineering professionals and service them on an enterprise level. As part of this we also host the EngineeringTrainerTV livestreams through our YouTube channel.

Our office is based in Bunnik near Utrecht.
