Job Summary 
We are seeking a motivated and technically-oriented Junior Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Portfolio Director to onboard new subject matter experts and build lasting partnerships. As a Junior Account Manager at EngineeringTrainer.com, you will play a crucial role in expanding our network of industry experts and contributing to the development and promotion of our training courses.

You will join the core team of the company and collaborate directly with the founders to realize growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert Onboarding: Identify and engage potential engineering experts in the energy and chemical industries to collaborate with our platform. 

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with industry experts to foster collaboration and trust. 

  • Course Development Support: Collaborate with experts and our production team to discuss potential training topics, course objectives, and content development. 

  • Promotion: Assist in the promotion of new training courses, working with the marketing team to reach a wider audience. 

  • Community building: Activate and nurture the community of experts on our platform, encouraging them to engage, contribute new content, and provide valuable insights that enhance the business value. 

  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify potential collaboration opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, or related). 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build relationships with industry experts. 

  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and potential training objectives. 

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as within a team. 

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Prior experience in account management or business development is a plus, but not required. 

  • Passion for online education and the engineering field is highly desirable. 

  • Enthusiasm for working at a young and fast-growing start-up environment. 

  • High proficiency in the English language. 

  • Able to work in our office (Bunnik, Utrecht) multiple days per week.
