About the course

This self-paced course teaches you all the fundamentals, and much more, of working with NozzlePRO.

Not just the basics. In this course, you will learn many different aspects of the NozzlePRO software, such as using the different Finite Element templates, set-up of your loads, model verification, viewing & post-processing your results and the relevance of the ASME VIII-2 stress categorization and compliance checks.

The course allows you to learn at your own pace and is fully provided online. The training is suitable for both new users as experienced users that want to learn more about the different features of the software.

Learning Outcomes

After these courses, you...
• are familiar with the NozzlePRO Interface & its modules,
• know how to work with shell type FEA models,
• understand the Options Menu & Boundary Conditions,
• can correctly set nozzle loads,
• know how to visually verify model settings & mesh,
• can post• process your results,
• understand Stress Categorization as per ASME BPVC VIII• 2,
• understand the associated Compliance Checks,
• know how to model piping actions and calculate SIFs,
• can calculate nozzle flexibilities and use them for pipe stress analysis.

This course is based on the latest release of the NozzlePRO software (v14.1).
