We are actively searching for a highly motivated Account manager to join our expanding team and contribute to our growth and reach.

Job Summary 
As an Account Manager at EngineeringTrainer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with our existing clients. Your responsibilities will extend to providing exceptional support to clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring a seamless experience with our platform with the aim of growing the account. In addition, you will actively contribute to sales activities, working collaboratively with the sales team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

You will join the core team of the company and collaborate directly with the founders to realize growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. 

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to foster retention and loyalty. 

  • Collaborate with enterprise clients to understand their training needs and align our offerings to meet those requirements. 

  • Support clients in navigating the platform, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing their usage of our training courses. 

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. 

  • Assist in the preparation of quotations, proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients. 

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the industry. 

  • Participate in sales meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback based on client interactions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a relevant field. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing client needs. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support. 

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and client satisfaction. 

  • High proficiency in the English language.

  • A growth mindset, life-long learner, and a doer attitude. Creative, curious, proactive, and autonomous.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

  • Enthusiasm for working at a young and fast-growing start-up environment.

  • Available to work 1.0 FTE.

  • Living in the Netherlands, able to work in our office near Utrecht.

  • Familiarity with the energy and chemical sector is a plus.

  • Proven experience in account management, client relations, or a related role is a plus.
