Learn how to assess flanges and flat ends according to the EN 13445 design code. In this Self-Paced course, participants will be taken through: assessment of flat ends, circular and non-circular, welded directly to the shell, assessment of flanges and blind flanges, the steps in the "Taylor and Forge" flange assessment method in Clause 11 in EN 13445, how the method in Clause 11 differs to the Equivalent Pressure Rule, the bolt tightening limits according to EN1591-1.
