About the course
Learn how to perform a piping flexibility study for an FRP piping system. In thismasterclass, participants will be taken through the analysis of an FRP system and will see first-hand: how to obtain the required FRP properties from the pipe vendor specifications, the configuration of the non-isotropic material properties, how to enter the pipe stress envelope, including the long-term axial and hoop strength, the load case set-up conform ISO 14692, how to model pipe fittings, calculation of the maximum pipe span, interpretation of piping flexibility results, including GRP flange assessment.
