Masterclass: Setting up and Running a Dynamic Analysis in CAESAR II
Masterclass: Setting up and Running a Dynamic Analysis in CAESAR II
About the course
Welcome to this instructor-led masterclass where you will see the instructor perform a Dynamic Stress Analysis for a piping system using CAESAR II. The instructor will start with a static piping model, input the dynamic loading, run the dynamic solver and show how to interpret the results. The focus will be on the Time History and Modal solvers, showing how to assess the response of piping systems to dynamic loads such as slug flow and waterhammer, and how to check for separation with respect to dynamic excitation frequencies.
This masterclass will walk through the process of setting up the models in the CAESAR II dynamic solver and interpreting results. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions to help their understanding and join discussions, and will see first hand how an industry expert sets up a dynamic piping model in CAESAR II.
