The instructor will show the key features of the pressurized carbon dioxide storage tanks, together with the longer term geological, aquifer, and ocean storage methods. You will be taken through the processing and compression steps required to transport carbon dioxide efficiently and economically, with a focus on the liquefaction process. Finally, the session explores industrial applications that utilize captured carbon, including its conversion into valuable chemical feedstocks like e-methanol.
